Between 20 August 2026 and 18 September 2026 the largest net flow of electricity across a European border was 3.30 TWh, from Sweden North-Central (SE2) into Sweden South-Central (SE3). The map shows the net flow on 88 borders between 47 bidding zones, summed over 30 complete days: a wider line is a larger net flow and the arrowhead points to the zone that received it. These are ENTSO-E metered physical flows for that window, not live readings.

Reading the Map
- Net flow. Power can cross a border in both directions within the window. The map shows the difference: the energy that went one way minus the energy that came back. Both directions are in the table.
- Window totals. Each figure is a sum over 30 complete days, 20 August to 18 September 2026. The export holds one total per border, so the map does not show a single day or an hour by hour picture.
- Physical, not scheduled. ENTSO-E reports measured physical flows. Traded (scheduled) exchanges can differ, and power also loops through neighbouring grids.
- Bidding zones. Zones are market areas, not always countries: Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Italy are split into several, and Germany and Luxembourg form one. Lines join the approximate centre of each zone, so they show which zones are linked, not where cables run.
- Gaps. Only borders reported by ENTSO-E appear. A zone that reports late or not at all can make its borders look smaller than they were. Zone pages give each zone's own demand and generation.
